This residence is located on Via del Governo Vecchio, renowned for its antique stores, outdoor cafes and wine bars and is just a one minute walk from the famous Piazza Navona with its own outdoor cafes set around the spectacular fountains which makes it one of the more popular sights for visitors to Rome. From this central location it is also just a couple of minutes walk to the Pantheon and the Campo de Fiori and to a bridge across the river to the charming village-like Trastevere section of the city. This is an unhosted apartment with one bedroom and room for another 2 guests in a fold out double in the lounge. The imposing marble and wooden door at the street level entrance leads through to a short flight of stairs up to the mezzanine level apartment, which has been nicely re-modelled. The apartment is furnished with a mix of antiques and modern furniture and has air conditioning and a wifi connection. On one side of the apartment is the bedroom which has a balcony. The main section is the lounge and dining room which has retained the exposed wooden beams and octagonal tiled "cotto" floor. The other side has a hallway leading to the bathroom which has a shower and then onto the full kitchen with new appliances and a microwave.

There are numerous choices for food and wine in this area, such as "Il Piccolo" for wine tasting, "Da Francesco" for simple authentic local foods and "Terra di Siena" for fine dining.
