This is a a wonderfully convenient apartment set in the village-like setting of Trastevere. Although this is a private unhosted apartment the proprietor lives elsewhere in the building. There is maid service every 3-4 days. 

Set on the 3rd floor (European 2nd floor, no elevator) of a lovely building from the 15th century. There are 2 levels connected by a spiral staircase, the apartment measures 800sq.ft. yet is bright and spacious and decorated with mostly modern furniture. In the hot summer months, the traditional Italian cotto floors and beamed ceilings keep the home cool and comfortable. However there is air conditioning and additional fans for the really hot weather.

The apartment offers one double or twin bedded room and another twin bedded room, a spacious modern bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub, a dining room, a large full kitchen and living room on the upper level with sofas that can be converted into two extra twin beds if needed. There is also a living area downstairs that offers plenty of room for relaxation. The accommodation is furnished with a television and a washing machine for your comfort and convenience.

In the heart of medieval Trastevere, this accommodation is nestled amongst a charming maze of cobbled alleyways, alive with travelers and locals alike. Nearby is the lovely Piazza Trilussa and you are just steps from the Santa Maria in Trastevere Square. The fascinating Campo de’ Fiori is just a short stroll across the Ponte Sisto pedestrian bridge over the Tiber River. The home is also surrounded by several restaurants, outdoor cafes, galleries, and unique shops. Medieval Trastevere has the ambiance of a small village, yet you are in the midst of an historic center.
